As a result, creative cities are rising in popularity. Here are three cities across Asia Pacific filled with sights and activities for the creatively inclined.   Wuhan, China See: Head to Tan Hua Lin, a pedestrianised street full of quirky boutiques selling locally designed handicrafts, art galleries, and cozy cafes and tea houses amidst heritage buildings. It is also home to Tanhualin Art Village, Wuhan’s answer to Beijing’s iconic 798 art zone. It Bag: Gucci’s Spring 2019 Runway Show

Fashion month has been over for almost a week, but Gucci did things a little differently this year. Not only did the Italian brand do a one-time-only show in Paris instead of Milan, but for days after the show, images of the collection's details were scant in all the usual spots we can usually find such things. Because Gucci is such a big, influential player in the accessories business, though, we've kept checking, and finally, our efforts were rewarded: we have just over a dozen photos of Gucci's Spring 2019 handbags to share with you. Hard to say how Mickey Mouse figures into all of this, except that his head got made into a handbag, which you will be able to buy for...

Valentino Velvet Bag

This fall, Valentino gave us a treat with its new Rockstud bag: The Valentino No Limit Bag. Like the Rockstud bags of the past, I loved this bag immediately when I saw it, and when Valentino sent us options to shoot, I was super intrigued by the velvet version. Not surprisingly, I loved it in black, and when I saw it in person, I thought it was the perfect velvet bag for fall. Like the Rockstud bags of the past and present, this bag is eye-catching and elegant. Valentino does details so incredibly well, and this brand new addition to the Rockstud line is no different. The studs are not too big, nor are they too small—they’re just right! The studs lining the bag...

Blake Lively attended the Spring 2019 Dior show

Without warning, without a hilarious, witty Instagram post or a getting-ready snap, Blake Lively attended the Spring 2019 Dior show at Paris Fashion Week. No one told you she would be there, but you probably could have guessed that she'd show up in something gorgeous if you'd known. Something gorgeous and — oh my effin' gawd — something that looked straight out of Serena van der Woodsen's closet circa 2010, as so sharply pointed out by POPSUGAR editor Macy Williams. Blake's Dior design, a lightweight, embroidered tulle fit-and-flare layered over a nude slip, actually came complete with a detachable caged skirt swathed in sequins. Blake slipped it over her dress preshow to achieve a more voluminous look, accessorized with a colorblock Dior purse and spiky Christian Louboutins. As soon as...

An Eccentric Sensibility – Autumn Winter ’18, Mulberry

For Autumn Winter ’18, Mulberry explores a very British notion - the attraction of opposites - knitting together references from different eras and distinct traditions to create something new. The result is an arresting cocktail, a melange of times and places that resonates with the here and now. The elements are well-known, but the mix is unexpected, redefining femininity with a bolder, more playful and glamorous touch. Mulberry’s muse combines all these elements, in her clothes and her attitude - she stands right on the edge of eccentricity. “This collection is an exploration of a different facet of British style. We’ve looked at the aristocrat, and the rebel - this woman is both,” says Johnny Coca. “Impulsive, playful. It’s an unexpected...
