Vintage watch collectors and enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that online watch marketplace Bob’s Watches is now hosting its largest curated auction ever. Consisting of 16 rare vintage Rolex models, the auction is aptly named “Fresh Finds” for the reason that all of the offered timepieces are purchased directly from their original owners, and sold on the market for the very first time since their initial purchase.
The collection includes some of the most iconic models from the Swiss luxury watchmaker, including a Paul Newman Daytona, several patinated GMT-Masters, and black Submariners dating back as early as 1957. Other highlights include a 1948 two-tone chronograph reference 4768, a Steve McQueen Explorer, and a series of other vintage Daytonas.
The pre-sale estimates combined are upward of $500,000 USD, but Bob’s Watches are confident the final figures will be closer to $1 million USD.
