INÈS DE LA FRESSANGE X UNIQLO’S FW20 CAMPAIGN CELEBRATES FEMALE FREEDOM IN THE ’70S

UNIQLO is set to drop another collaborative collection later this month. In partnership with French designer Inès de La Fressange, the Japanese retail company’s latest Fall/Winter 2020 campaign is an ode to female independence and fashion in the ’70s.     “Many women were determined to emancipate themselves from traditions. These liberated individuals took fashion and their lives in exciting new directions,” de La Fressange said in a press release. Inspired by the free-spirit of actress Jane Birkin and singer-songwriter Françoise Madeleine Hardy, garments in the line include a variety of knitwear and skirts that arrive in folkloric Fair Isle patterns available in a neutral color palette. BAPE X CLARKS ORIGINALS REWORK THE CLASSIC WALLABEE AND DESERT BOOT SILHOUETTES

Following its collaboration with Supreme late last year, Clarks Originals has unveiled new iterations of its classic silhouettes in partnership with A BATHING APE. Featuring a limited-edition Wallabee and Desert Boot, both styles have been crafted out of the finest leather and suede materials from Charles F. Stead.     Available in a turquoise hue and salmon pink shade, the Wallabee boasts BAPE‘s iconic camo print and a lightweight outsole with unique “shark tooth” tread. In celebration of the boot’s 70th anniversary, the shoe features a combination of its original details along with laser-printed BAPE artwork on the upper. Marc Jacobs and Cactus Plant Flea Market Unveil Unexpected Collab

Shortly after revealing an upcoming team-up with Anti Social Social Club, Cactus Plant Flea Market has now revealed an unexpected collaboration with Marc Jacobs. Inspired by the American fashion designer’s iconic tattoos, the special range is comprised of jackets, hoodies, long-sleeve T-shirts, tote bags and a rug. Leading the collaboration are the heavyweight cotton hoodies that sees CPFM designer Cynthia Lu recreate tattoo found on Jacob’s torso in her signature puff print graphic style. Goyard Channels Snoopy Prints for 2020 Capsule

Goyard is tapping PEANUTS nostalgia for a brand new bag capsule. The Parisian luxury house has emblazoned boisterous Snoopy prints over a set of bags and wallets.   Highlighted in the range are tote bags colored in green, yellow, black, white and red, stamped with the label’s signature monogram. Each bag is vividly accented with two-toned stripes that cut through the center. Sitting at the top of them are various Snoopy motifs, like depictions of the character taking a nap or reading a book. STARBUCKS JAPAN TAPS FRAGMENT DESIGN TO CREATE EXCLUSIVE TUMBLERS

For its latest collaborative drop, Starbucks Japan has teamed up with fragment design on a selection of new merch for the opening of its new store in Tokyo‘s Rayard Miyashita Park. The exclusive assortment includes bottles, tumblers and graphic tees that arrive in a neutral color palette.   The word “MYST” can be found throughout the beverage containers, which stands for Miyashita Park, along with Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s iconic lighting bolt branding in tandem with Starbucks’ logo. Delivering its Fall/Winter 2020 offerings, Louis Vuitton has now released Virgil Abloh‘s latest take on its Soft Trunk bag.   Coming in at 9.8 x 7.1 x 3.9 inches, the carrying option is defined by the cloud inspired Monogram print that sees billowy LV initials applied on a sunny sky. The Monogram Clouds coated canvas base is accented by cowhide leather trim that reinforces the luxury fashion house’s legendary trunks. Accompanying details come in the form of LV branded silver-tone hardware. Inside the zipped closure is a matching textile lining marked with a classic leather brand tag.
