Prada Brings Re-Nylon Collection to Selfridges Corner Shop

Prada is set to take over the Corner Shop section of Selfridges from August 17, returning to the famous retailer with a full Re-Nylon collection. Prada initially announced the launch of Re-Nylon in 2019, revealing how the sustainable material was constructed from plastic waste collected from oceans, fishing nets and textile fiber waste.   The Re-Nylon collection available at Selfridges features classic Prada pieces, including men’s and women’s ready-to-wear as well as accessories, created from black regenerated nylon. Bonhams has announced an upcoming auction called “Luxury Online,” which will give prospective buyers the opportunity to purchase rare bags from Louis Vuitton and Chanel.   The bags in question are some of the brands’ most collectible pieces. For example, the incredibly rare Yayoi Kusama x Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 handbag is leading the auction, while other notable pieces destined for the auction block include the Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton Alma 30 bag — which is covered in the artist’s famous multicolored pastel rendition of the LV monogram. Following its women’s Air Jordan 1 “Satin Snake” drop, Nike has unveiled two new iterations of its Air Jordan 1 Mid SE. After releasing its new line of deodorants last month, Nécessaire has now taken to Instagram to reveal that it has officially partnered up with Sephora. “We feel humbled that Sephora would give us a spot on their website and a cubby on their wall, which allows us to offer clean, effective and sustainable body care to many more,” the brand said in its post.   Founded by Nick Axelrod and Randi Christiansen in 2018, the company is dedicated to the practice of clean beauty and has a diverse lineup of body care and sex care products.
