Gucci-Comme des Garçons Collaboration for “The Shopper”

In 2015, COMME des GARÇONS teamed up with the Italian luxury brand Gucci on a collection of silk scarves. Now, right in time for the holidays, the two brands are back at it again for the launch of their latest collaborative tote bag.   The collab features an updated version of CDG’s beloved signature plastic paper tote. The new iteration includes a silver COMME des GARÇONS label printed across a plastic bag with the signature Gucci red-and-green stripe running vertically down the middle. The unexpected collaboration was previewed last month in Japan at COMME’s and Dover Street Market Ginza and will have an international release slated for December 6. At this time, the price has not yet been revealed, but don’t be surprised if you spend your entire Christmas shopping budget on this drop...

COMME des GARÇONS at Dover Street Market

COMME des GARÇONS has now opened special installations for the collection at Dover Street Market locations around the world. After officially launching its new CDG line last week, COMME des GARÇONS has now opened special installations for the collection at Dover Street Market locations around the world. The new spaces have opened at DSM stores in Beijing, London, Los Angeles, New York and Singapore as well as COMME des GARÇONS stores in Hong Kong and Seoul. The new CDG line will also have two standalone stores in Tokyo and Osaka. COMME des GARÇONS’ Newest Line

After the first images of COMME des GARÇONS’ new CDG line emerged — with Anti Social Social Club and Avi Gold collaborations — last month, a first look at the wider capsule has now been revealed. Titled “Breaking News” the logo-centric capsule is the first CDG release, with a full collection set to drop later this year. The brand is seen as an internet-driven line, with takes on the COMME des GARÇONS’ airline logo appearing across coach jackets, hoodies and coach jackets in a fluorescent color palette.
